WHEN BOOKING

When you book online please double check you are booking the correct treatment. If you need a soak off make sure you include this, if you require nail art please make sure you book for this, if your booking is incorrect this may mean the treatment will not be able to go ahead.
When booking please make a note of how long you have allocated for your treatment time and that you are free for the full treatment time as this is the time we need to complete the treatment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The effects of clients not showing for an appointment or cancelling at the last minute can be extremely detrimental to the salon and resident therapists working from the salon. To keep the salon running smoothly and in fairness to other clients we would greatly appreciate at least 48 hours notice of any cancellation or alterations to any appointments. We understand emergencies and situations beyond your control can sometimes happen, but it is very difficult to fill an appointment last minute with little/no notice. 
 
Any cancellations or appointment movements made with less than 48 hours notice will result in a 50% charge. Any cancellations or appointment movements made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a 100% charge. We will be happy to change or cancel any appointments up until 48 hours before.

NO SHOW'S

Any 'no show' appointments will be charged 100% of the treatment price that was booked. This payment will be required before a new booking can be made.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you are running late please contact your therapist directly or call the salon as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate, however any appointments 15 minutes late or more may not be able to go ahead.

NEW CLIENTS

All new clients are required to pay a 50% booking fee at the time of booking their appointment. The self employed therapist will contact you with instructions of how to make your payment. 
 Booking fee is non-refundable and is used towards cost of you pre booked appointment.
 
As we are an appointment-based salon, late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may not be accommodated or, your service will be shortened. In this case, the booked service cost will be charged. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the booked service, however booking fee is not transferrable to rescheduled appointments if less than 48 hours notice is given.

CHILD POLICY

Due to an update on our Salon health and safety regulations, we can no longer allow children in the Salon when you come for your treatment.
 
A salon is not the safest place for a child, since very sharp objects, and chemicals are in regular use. Our therapists are unable to carry out your treatment if they also need to keep an eye on child safety.  We as a salon want to ensure that both you and our other clients receive a relaxing treatment.  Therefore, we request that you come alone to your appointment and enjoy the time to yourself.

GIFT VOUCHERS

We offer gift vouchers that can be redeemed with any resident therapist working within Totally Polished. 
Vouchers are valid for 6 months and can be purchased in the salon. Please note when purchasing vouchers they are cash payments only.
When booking please let us know in the notes section you have a voucher you will be using.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Please note anyone under the age of 16 requires a signed consent from a parent or guardian before any treatment can go ahead.
Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian when having a treatment in the salon. 

Please note we are unable to carry out Gel Polish nail services on anyone under the age of 14. We do not carry out Lash or Brow Tinting, Lash Extensions or Lash Lifting Treatments on anyone under the age of 16.

PAYMENTS

Most of the resident therapists accept major debit/credit cards (Excluding Amex), Cash and Apple Pay. Your therapist will be in touch if this is any different.
Please note all card transactions have to be £10.00 or over.

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before the following treatments:
  • Lash Tinting
  • Brow Tinting
  • LVL Lash Lifting
  • Lash Extensions
  • HD Brows
  • Brow Lamination
  • Brow Microblading

Please note we DO NOT except disclaimer forms and no patch test means no treatment will go ahead. You can book a patch test on our online booking system or by giving the salon a call. Please ONLY book your patch test in with the therapist you have booked the treatment in with as we all use different brands and products.
